I tried to make a Bargello geode. It may have gotten away from me a bit. Ya think? Not quite my usual tidy Bargello is it? Well it is done and will go into a Sudberry House tray. Here it is pre-finishing: if the recipient doesn't like it I will make another, more traditional Bargello for her.

ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely! And such an interesting idea ... the austere linear bargello is fascinating and wonderful, but self-limiting. Now, it's been set free. And how nice to be spontaneously creative in such restricted and restricting times. Thanks for sharing, Liz.
ReplyDeleteI rather like it. It's got all the qualities of a geode, which to me has always seemed like controlled chaos. If the recipient doesn't like it, I'll take it! Hahahahaha. How could anyone not like that?
