More Framing

More framing!
I had these two framed alike and they hang together as you see them.
The top one is Tony Minieri's Stars for a New Miullenium.
The bottom one is Pamela Gardner's From Molehill to Mountain.
I used my own color scheme for both of them.

Mystery Retreat FRAMED

I finished the project from the 2012 Mystery Retreat (Portland) this year.  Come on, it's only been 4 years!  Anyway, I finally got it framed.

More Framing

Two more pieces back from the framer.
Walking the Water's Edge has been finished for about a year, but now it is framed and will be hung in our loft where there are other "beachy" things.  The frame is actually about the color in the pic at the lower left.  Very simple. but I like it.

Vegas Nights is one of the patterns that is available on my website.  It's been finished for years, but we have a red & black wall in our current house, so I pulled it out to be framed.  The silver really sets it off.

Finally Framed

Finally got a couple of things framed.

My little blue bargello with the pin in the center has been framed with an easel back so it can sit on a table or shelf.  It turned out really pretty, however, lesson learned:  If planning a piece to be framed this way - make it a standard size.  This piece is an odd size and the custom framing was ridiculously expensive!

Linda, designed by Orna Willis, colors and threads changed by me.  The framing makes it look great!

Framed

I finally got some things framed:

Twister, finished 2012, this piece will hang in our entryway along with other black/white/red things.

Mystery Retreat, Las Vegas, 2009, this huge project has been finished for 5 years!.  I had it stuck on my wall with tacks in Vegas, but now it is finally properly framed.  I actually use this piece as a stitch sampler and refer to it often!

My version of Jean Hilton's Puzzle Purse, my "Puzzle Piece".  The Puzzle Purse was a Cyberpointers' SAL in 2013.  I did not want a purse, so reworked the design area into a square.  It was quite a challenge, which was Jean Hilton's intention!  I'm pleased to have it framed now.

Boink & Ringing in the New Year FRAMED

This week I picked up two pieces from the framer: BOINK and Ringing in the New Year.

Ringing in the New Year was Karen Anthony's design for the ANG Cyberchapter January meeting. I am really glad we decided to go with a simple dark red frame and no mat. I will be giving this to my Mom for Xmas this year.

Boink is the Book of Ink Circles mystery piece that I completed last year. I am really pleased with the framing, I was not sure they could get the mat to fit as perfectly as they did.
