Geode Bargello

I tried to make a Bargello geode. It may have gotten away from me a bit. Ya think?  Not quite my usual tidy Bargello is it?  Well it is done and will go into a Sudberry House tray. Here it is pre-finishing:  if the recipient doesn't like it I will make another, more traditional Bargello for her.                                          Here it is in the tray
Sorry about this messy post. Blog does NOT like it when I post from my iPad!

I like it!

It looks lovely! And such an interesting idea ... the austere linear bargello is fascinating and wonderful, but self-limiting. Now, it's been set free. And how nice to be spontaneously creative in such restricted and restricting times. Thanks for sharing, Liz.

I rather like it. It's got all the qualities of a geode, which to me has always seemed like controlled chaos. If the recipient doesn't like it, I'll take it! Hahahahaha. How could anyone not like that?

I like this, too. And it is very much like a geode to boot!

What size is the tray and where did you get it? I need one with a 6" square opening. and I love the geode~

This tray is approximately 11" square. It's from Sudberry House. They might have something you could use.
