Don't get old!

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days. Friday night I fell on cement and banged myself up. Fortunately I didn't break anything - very good news! But I did get lots of nasty abrasions and required 3 stitches in one knee. I don't hurt much and can get around pretty good, but it sure is hard to keep one leg straight "as much as possible". I haven't done any stitching since, but hope to get a few in this afternoon. My right wrist has an ow-y, so I'll have to see if that is going to be an issue. Better not be! I'm going to try to work on the ANG August Stitch of the Month today, so hopefully I'll be back in "normal" action in a day or two. Don't get old - it's really a drag! Especially when you are a skinny old white woman with tissue paper skin LOL!

Hope you are soon all back to normal! Falling hurts anyone at any age and you are not old!!

Gosh, I hope you feel better and not shaken up by now. Falls are no fun, even when you aren't hurt.

Hugs from Jane, who slipped and fell in the kitchen Saturday morning and feels quite foolish today

Sorry to hear about your fall.

I did something similar a few years back, thinking of it, twice actually.

One time my eyeglasses were pretty out of shape and my hands were not a pretty sight.

The other time it was a knee, but luckily nothing broken.

Been staying out of trouble ever since :-)

Hope it heals quickly for you and that you are back to stitching soon.

So sorry to learn of your fall. Take care and heal fast! In my book, this is a perfect excuse to spend time stitching - more active pursuits might reinjure your owies.
