Bag Ladies is started!  First I basted in the outlines of all of the bags.  The bags will be stitched with overdyes and some metallic and/or shiny threads for accent.  I have 2 bags done already.  They go pretty fast once the basting is done.

 I am having cataract surgery next week and I'm hoping to work on this "easy" project while my eye adjusts!

Hugs on the surgery! Had mine done last year. The surgery was pretty easy although the anesthesia for surgery #1 made me woozy for two days. Don't try to rush to stitch. Let it all heal and adjust to your new vision, and let the eye surgeon know if you have light sensitivity or a headache after the first day or two. That's your eye saying ouch ouch ouch!
