Lighthouse is Finished

The Lighthouse is finished! I finished it last night. I was so happy when I put in that final stitch. This piece has been years in the stitching. I didn't work on it for a long time and vowed to finish it this summer. Happy Dance! I think it turned out pretty well for a kit, thanks to changing out most of the thread and adding textured stitches!

I think it looks nice and the textured stitches really add a lot of interest to the project. Especially on the 'blocks' for the lighthouse. Congrats.

I bet your change of thread colors also made it a lot better!

You were very brave to take on this canvas! I really like the improvements via textured stitches- the sail on the boat is a nice touch! It shows up well.

Very nice job on this, so delightful with color! I'd like to be entering in the front door right now. After I tended to the beautiful flower bed.

You did a beautiful job on this Liz! I love all the textures you've added to it. I hope you'll show us a photo when it is framed too.
