Glitz & Glamour Carnelian

Happy Dance!  I finished Glitz & Glamour Carnelian before the end of the year.

Of course, mine is quite different.  Surprise, I changed all the colors to aqua with a touch of brown.

This piece is where I learned to use Water N Ice over an overdye to create amazing effects!  Thank you, DebBee's Designs!!

Here's my version:
I think it turned our really pretty!

Christmas Littles

I have no excuses!  I just keep forgetting to post.  I have been stitching ornaments and they are almost finished.  I did some of the "finishing" today and hope to have them all done in the next day or so to photograph the next time there is a sunny day!

These designs plus a few others will become a collection of designs called Christmas Littles that will be available after the first of the year.  They are all little!  Some as small as 1.5" square.  The biggest is not quite 5"x7".  Great stash busters.

Stay tuned for publishing announcement next month!

Waterskier

Finally, something she stitched recently!

My husband is an avid waterskier.  We live on a waterski lake.  One of the residents has friends who are professional waterskiers and one of those has given my husband and his buddies free lessons.  Since the pro refused payment, they wanted a special gift for him.  Hubby volunteered my services!  The photo to the right is the result.  I've been working on this off & on since about the first of Sept.  I had hoped to have it done by the end of Oct., but, oh well, life got in the way.
It will go into a tray.

Many years ago I stitched a waterskier for DH.  So I had a sort of pattern.  This time I wanted it to be even more abstract.  Below is the original I did about 15 years ago.
I like them both!
