Diamond in a Square is framed. I really like this piece!
We used a very dark green suede mat & a gold frame with a touch of cross hatching on it.
This piece, along with Twisted Metal, will be going to the exhibit at Seminar in Philly. I hope some of you will be there & be able to see them in person.

Twisted Metal, Reframed
A few weeks ago I showed you Twisted Metal framed & ask for opinions. Thank you for your input.
After looking at it for awhile, I liked it less & less and decided to redo it. So, back to the frame shop we went. We kept the frame, but redid the matting & I'm so glad I did! I like it much better now.

Jason & Monica, Finished!
The Wedding Gift is finished! The wedding is a little over a week away, so I'm done in good time.
Below is a pic of it in the tray. The finished piece was exactly the size of the tray opening. I trimmed the blank canvas borders to about 3/8" and turned it to the back and whip stitched it to the back of the needlepoint. Then all I had to do was plop it in and put the back on. Tray done!

Another apology and some Progress
Seems like I'm always apologizing for not posting for a long time! Well, that's not going to get better for awhile. Too much going on at once. Too many obligations, travel, events... Must be summer!
Anyway, I have managed to complete the borders on this piece. Now I have to figure out what to do with the rest of it. I think I will do a light coverage stitch all over in either an overdye that is mostly the same color as the canvas, or one that is in the light aqua range. I'll have to do some experimenting. This has to be finished before the end of the month, so I have to get cracking!
