4-Way Butterflies Bargello, Final & Finished

And here it is in all it's final glory! The Bargello background uses a Watercolor plus 2 Silk & Ivory colors from the overdye. I had originally planned to use a Hilton stitch, maybe layered Crescents or something, for the center, but I decided that would be too prominent and I didn't want that. So I settled for sort of Bargello diamond with a cross stitch at the very center. I really like the way it turned out.
Here is the framed piece:

I was wondering when the bargello was coming in. This looks very nice.

I've seen this in person and it is fantastic! I love the colors and bargello stitching around the butterflies.

I love the background, Liz. It is muted but lively. Great job! Your friend is very lucky. Hope you are charting this out to sell later.

Wow - the background really allows the butterflies to fly off the piece. Very interesting to look at.
