Stars For A New Millenium, Progress #11

We are 3/4 finished with Stars!  Only 3 more squares & the remaining border to do.  I wish we could finish by the end of the year but I don't think that's gonna happen!
Ava Gardner is a pretty square isn't she?  Tony tricked me though:  I was excited to be done with the Trebizond, only to be confronted with Patina for this square.  I hate rayon thread!  Looks pretty though.  Anyway, Ava is done & I also completed all of the little squares between the sashings.

Be sure to check Jan's progress as well.  Such fun that these two are so different!  Below is my total piece to date:

It's looking great! I had a class with Tony last week and someone brought in a completed Stars to show. WOW, your pictures are gorgeous but seeing one in person I can more appreciate all the work that you're doing in each square! I just love your color scheme.

It's great to be so far along on this. Can't wait for us to both be finished with it. It's a challenge but we're learning so many new stitches and combinations.

i love the colours you chose for stars. i was never really able to get my going. did about 3 squares and gave up. it think it is so smart to do the borders as you go along instead of saving it all up for the end.
